OUR HERITAGE
The Di Domenico brothers, Rocque, Tarquin and Marcus, collectively have over one hundred years of experience in jewellery design and the art of hand fabricating precious metal jewellery. Originally from Johannesburg, the brothers relocated to the USA where they established two studios in Florida. They have since become well known for their craft from Miami through to Chicago and from the west coast to the east coast of the USA.
Throughout the world, their exclusive work has been appreciated by royalty, presidents, first ladies, mayors and many famous Hollywood actors. Tarquin has since relocated back in South Africa form the USA to establish a studio here to produce exclusive jewellery for export and the South African local market using a mix of American, European and African design concepts from his work studio in the Watercrest mall.
The Di Domenico brothers intend to establish the Jewellery Academy of South Africa to prevent the loss of a dying art by passing on valuable knowledge, experience and expertise of proper precious-metal hand crafting which is taught in very few places in the world.
South Africa’s own process of invisible setting and first of its kind in the world was developed by Tarquin through an electro-chemical means of attaching diamonds and gems of any type to gold or platinum. Tarquin has since developed a new white precious-metal to the world, called Ptag 8. The metal has been developed to meet the demand for white metal jewellery at more affordable prices.
We remain at the forefront of technology, building on the true art of jewellery creation and precious-metal smith activities, ensuring our customers the very best works of art, from a team with a passion to be counted amongst the best.
